This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted.

Refunds are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the respective AfriOne service or product purchased. Customers must review service-specific policies before initiating a refund request.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
3.1 Services Eligible for Refund
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate transactions: If a customer is mistakenly charged twice for the same service.
- Service not delivered: If AfriOne fails to provide the service as per the agreed terms.
- Technical errors: If a service or product cannot be accessed due to a technical failure on AfriOne’s platform.
- Cancellation within the allowed period: If a customer cancels within the timeframe specified for each service.
3.2 Non-Refundable Services
Certain services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Digital products and online courses after access has been granted.
- Real estate listings and advertising fees once a property is published.
- Service fees for consultations, business matchmaking, or professional advisory services.
- Investment contributions made through AfriOne Invest, except in cases where terms explicitly allow for withdrawal.
- Event tickets and sponsorship fees unless the event is canceled by AfriOne.
4. Refund Request Process
4.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers must follow these steps:
- Submit a Refund Request: Email refunds@afrione.africa with the following details:
- Full Name
- Contact Information
- Transaction ID/Invoice Number
- Service/Product Purchased
- Reason for Refund Request
- Verification: AfriOne will review the request, verify the transaction, and assess eligibility.
- Processing Time: If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-14 business days through the original payment method.
4.2 Payment Gateway Refunds
Refunds processed through Flutterwave (our payment gateway partner) may take additional time depending on the bank or financial institution involved. Processing fees may be deducted as per Flutterwave’s policies.
5. Refund for Subscription Services
For subscription-based services (e.g., property listings, membership plans, or recurring services), refunds are only applicable if cancellation is made before the renewal period. No refunds will be issued for partially used subscription periods.
6. Event Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If AfriOne cancels an event: Full refunds will be provided to ticket holders.
- If an attendee cancels their ticket: Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation deadline mentioned in the event terms.
- Force Majeure: No refunds will be granted for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond AfriOne’s control (e.g., natural disasters, government regulations, etc.).

Customers are encouraged to contact AfriOne first to resolve any payment issues before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension or legal action.
